Dunham Bush Launches New Helios Series: Model ACHX-A (50Hz) Air Cooled Screw Chillers – HELIOS Series

Dunham-Bush Malaysia (DBM) is proud to present the launching of our new High Efficiency Air Cooled Screw Chillers, the Helios Series: Model ACHX-A available in 50Hz with R134A refrigerant on 6th January 2015. The Helios series was named after the Greek God of Sun to signify power and superiority. The Helios series offers high efficiency horizontal Twin Screw Compressors with independent refrigerant circuit for superior performance, redundancy and reliability. With name taken after the God of Sun, the Helios series are able to operate at the high ambient temperature condition of Middle East up to 125⁰F (52⁰C). Some of the new features incorporated in the Helios Series: Model ACHX-A are:-

  • 9 Models with nominal cooling capacity from 80 to 282RT (281 to 991kW).
  • Twin compressors with two independent refrigeration circuits for redundancy and reliability.
  • High Efficiency Horizontal screw compressors for superior efficiency and performance.
  • Able to operate up to 125°F (52°C) ambient temperature and suitable for High Ambient Application.
  • Featuring advanced Vision 2020i Controller with Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV), to provide excellent capacity control and stability.
  • Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) Economizer to increase capacity, improves system efficiency and stability.
