Location: Kajang, Selangor
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead a team of R&D Engineers.
• Lead the design, development and implementation of Dunham-Bush products based on internal and customer needs.
• Oversee continuous improvement of existing products.
• Promote product quality, safety and performance.
• Responsible for verifying that all assigned product designs and factory orders comply with applicable standards, customer requirements and sound engineering principles.
• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Drawings, Purchased Part Specifications, Procedures, Bills of Material, Products Literature, Installation Manuals and other documents required for the design, manufacture and testing of the products.
• Responsible for providing technical support to Sales/Marketing, Warranty Service, Quality Control & Production Departments, Associate Companies and Customer as needed.
• Assist Purchasing Department in sourcing components & raw materials, providing specifications and evaluating quality of vendors.
• Any other duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in HVAC industry.
• Complete knowledge of refrigeration designs including piping, components matching, condenser and evaporator design, oil management and safety code requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, applications and trouble shooting.
• Good knowledge of testing and manufacturing methods used in HVAC equipments.
• Knowledge of new refrigerants and impact on performance.
• Possess strong management skills and ability to train others.
• Effective scheduling, organization, negotiation and communication skills.
• Effective planning and control of multiple concurrent projects.
