Lafourche Parish Schools, LA
For the Lafourche
Parish Schools, Louis Schweizer and his staff at Product Engineering,
Metairie LA and quality air conditioning equipment are a 25 year
tradition. In partnership with Lee Castagnos of Castasgnos-Goodwin &
Associates, Hourna LA, Product Engineering has placed Dunham-Bush air
conditioning equipment in over 15 school system installation including the
systems central office.
The three largest projects installed are in the three high schools
within the parish. Smaller project included almost a dozen elementary
school installations including the La Fargue Elementary School equipment
pictured above and to the right. For that installation, Product
Engineering provided two new ACDX040 - Air-Cooled Chillers.
The ACDX040 Chillers
were supplied with: disconnects with handles, operating and safety lights,
return water temperature sensor, fin guard top only and special paint,
suction line insulation as well as suction and discharge line ball valves.
"As with all the equipment selected by the school system in the last 25
years, reliability, serviceability and extremely quiet operation levels
were the deciding factors," said Mr. Schweizer.
Francis Hubbell of
the Lafourche Parish School District, Lafourche LA, speaking for the
school system said, "I like the easy to maintain coil surfaces. Dunham-
Bush's condenser fan spacing makes it much easier to clean than
competitive equipment and we love the reliability of the Hitachi screw
compressors."
In his twenty-five years of supplying equipment, Louis has seamlessly
provided quality units built in Illinois, Virginia and now from
Dunham-Bush's new factory in Malaysia. "All the units look alike and if
anything the quality and finish now is superior to the other units," said
Mr. Schweizer.
When asked the
secret to his long-standing selling success, Mr. Schweizer said, "The key
is to get to the owner and installing engineer to make sure they know of
the features offered by Dunham-Bush."
"The long-term reliability of the equipment, combined with the lower
cost of maintenance built into its condenser design and exceptionally low
operating sound levels are things that appeal to school installation
...things they are willing to pay for." said Mr. Schweizer.
Thank you, Louis
and staff for 25 years of fine work. Dunham- Bush appreciates your hard
work and loyalty!
