Custom Compact Air Handler
Dunham-Bush is pleased to announce another innovative product, the DC
Series Custom Compact Air Handler. This unit is unique because of the
space saving concept of this air handler, designed to fit in tight spaces
with all mechanical connections on the top of the unit for a clean,
finished look. The DC Series is also extremely quiet - ideal for the
renovation or new construction market.
Construction Features:
- Rigid But Light Weight Structure - The frames are made of extruded aluminum channels, joined by nylon corner pieces to form a rigid but light weight structure.
- Total Thermal Break - All frames feature revolutionary thermal-break profile. Combined with sandwich insulated panel, nylon corner piece, to form a total heat-transfer isolation of the unit, resulting in high energy saving plus no undesirable formation of condensation on the unit casing.
- Sandwich Panel - Sandwich panel construction has smooth inner surface for easy and effective cleaning to reduce risk of dirt and bacterial accumulation; there is no erosion of internal insulation material to contaminate the air stream. The PVC strip between inner and outer layer forms a thermal-break to minimize heat transfer
- Durability and Neat Finish - The external casing is made of zinc/aluminum alloy-coated steel which offers excellent corrosion resistance, with neat silver-white finish.
The DC Series Custom Compact Air Handler is designed to fit flush against the wall with all access through the front hinged panels. The DC Series is approximately half the foot print of a standard air handler. All duct and piping connections are through the top of the unit.
